In this practical workshop, you will learn how TIG welding works and how you can implement this technique in your projects!
TIG welding (Tungsten Inert Gas welding) is a welding process that allows for the production of particularly high-quality welds. At Happylab, TIG welding is performed with argon gas. It can be used to weld structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
In this practical training, you will learn:
- Einführung und Grundlagen des WIG-Schweißens,

- wie die Materialien vor- und nachbereitet werden,
- wie du den Brenner in der Praxis handhabst, um ein gutes Schweißergebnis zu erzielen,
- Schweißnähte in verschiedenen Positionen zu üben,
- das Erkennen von Gefahrenquellen und wie du Fehler vermeidest,
- sowie die Handhabung des Plasmaschneiders.
To use the TIG welding equipment at Happylab, you need both this training and the General Safety Instruction (GSI Metal). The order in which you complete them is up to you.
