In this practical training, you will learn the functionality and handling of the conventional milling machine for metal at Happylab Vienna, so you can use the machine at Happylab for your own projects.
You will learn:
- Clamping of milling tools
- Alignment of the machine vice
- Setting of speeds and feeds
- Conventional and climb milling
- Cutting data (guidelines)
- Introduction to edge finders
- Recognizing sources of danger and accident prevention
To use the milling machine independently after the workshop, you need both this training and the General Safety Instruction (GSI Metal). The order in which you complete them is up to you. You do not have to have completed GSI Metall to attend the workshop.
