During the workshop, participants will get to know the Calliope mini and learn how to read sensor data, control LEDs and sounds and connect motors. We use the browser-based MakeCode editor as a programming environment, which enables the children to fully control the microcontroller and integrate a variety of sensors - including light, temperature and compass sensors.
By arranging blocks of code, children learn to programme the microcontroller and can give free rein to their creativity. But that's not all: with the help of additional components, the Calliope becomes a robot or whatever the children can imagine during the workshop. There are no limits to their imagination!
In the Happylab, the children have the opportunity to get creative with the various devices and materials and make their own robot. Let's explore the world of technology together and realise exciting projects!
In the afternoon, it's off to the park, the museum or a fun park - depending on your mood and the weather!
