The woodshop at Happylab Vienna is equipped with many machines and tools for processing wood and wood composite materials: The sliding table saw allows for precise cutting of panel-shaped workpieces. The surface-thickness planer is a combined type of planer machine that can flatten, smooth, and plane solid wood to the desired thickness.
In this practical training, you will learn:
- The safe handling of the sliding table saw and surface-thickness planer,
- Which saw blades are suitable for which materials,
- How to achieve good cutting and planing results.
To use the sliding table saw and surface-thickness planer at Happylab, you need both this training and the General Safety Instruction (GSI Wood). The order in which you complete them is up to you.
